- Have a positive attitude towards your marriage; believe that you will succeed.
- Learn to accept your fault whenever there is a misunderstanding
- Always say sorry when you realize your fault.
- Don’t depend on your husband as your source of happiness, depend on God.
- Don’t compare your husband with other husbands, every human being is unique.
- Don’t keep a record of your husband’s mistakes.
- Try to do what pleases your husband and avoid what he dislikes.
- Know that every human being has limitations including you and your husband.
- Don’t rush to seek advice from your unmarried friends.Seek counsel from your Pastor or a Christian marriage counsellor.
- Learn to depend on the grace of God by having a constant fellowship with God through His word and prayers.
- Determine to make your marriage a success, and work towards it.
- Learn to control your feelings whenever your husband raises his voice on you.
- Don’t try to defend yourself when your husband is angry with you.
- Stop nagging and start appreciating.
- Gently tell your husband his mistakes when he is in his good mood.
- Don’t oppose your husband in the public; he would be embarrassed.
- Learn to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit instead of your own opinion.
- Determine to be the salt and light of your family.
- Learn to depend on God’s grace, and not on your effort.
- Study the word and pray for your marriage fervently.
- Do any other thing that the Holy Spirit lays in your mind that would build your relationship.
